I came across a new controller for the Nintendo Wii today called the jOG. It’s being touted as motion sensor for game consoles that enables your character to move only when you do. It’s a really neat concept that perfectly compliments Nintendo’s gaming strategy for the Wii. Just imagine what playing the Wii Fit will be like using jOG. While jOG is available for Playstation, it will not be available for the Wii until this Christmas.

Keep an eye out for this nifty little device as I am sure it will really kick your aerobic workouts into over-drive. I am not sure what the jOG is expected to cost, but I will post more when I find out.

Shut Up or I’ll Punch You in the Mouth!

Today’s Stats are:

BMI: 25.56

Weight: 187 lbs.

Wii Fit Age: 32 (+2)

Goal: 170 lbs/ 23 BMI

Today I opened up the boxing game which turned out to be a lot of fun. I hoped it would be a little faster but I had a chance for that at the end. This is a great aerobic exercise and you need that if you intend to lose any weight. I am going make this exercise part of my daily routing. 170 pounds here I come!

Hula Hoop Fool

I have been out of town for the past week or so and unfortunately I got off my regular Wii Fit routine. To start this week off my wife thought it would be funny for me to post a video of me doing the hula hoop. I look completely ridiculous and hope you get a few chuckles out of it. I will post some stats later as I get back into my routine.

Work It with the Hula Hoop!

If you are spending your time playing the balance games, try giving the Hula Hoop another shot. Sure you look like a fool swinging your hips around with an imaginary hula hoop – but you will definitely get an aerobic heart beat doing it. In my opinion this is one of the better exercises because it works your core and gets your heart rate up. If you want to lose a pound or two, then swing it baby!

Are You A Casual Wii Fitter?

CasualMTV News site, Multiplayer recently conducted a poll asking fans if they are still playing the Wii Fit as of the May 20th launch event. I was surprised by the results, only 51% are still playing!

How lazy can America be? Nintendo created the Wii to get our slack behinds up off the couch and actually do something. But what I am hearing is that we’re too lazy to even play a video game that gets our heart beating just a little bit.
